It is with a heavy heart today we’re writing to inform you Hazel Vespa’s husband, Carl, passed away last night. Hazel has been a prominent advocate for our community since the group’s inception and we all mourn her loss. She asked us to let the Illinois PKU community know that they are welcome to attend the funeral and visitation following the service on Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ church in Lincoln Park.
